Site License software allow you to install the software to the hard drives of all computers at a single site. You will not need the CD-ROM in the computer drive after the software has been installed.

Commonly, installation must be performed by a System Administrator with rights to install and configure software installations.

Apple OS 10.4.5 impact on Classic applications

Apple has started replacing their new Macs with an Intel chipset.  The previous chip Apple used and the Intel use a different language and must therefore have a translator.  In OS 10.4.5 Apple released a program called Rosetta.  Rosetta runs in the background and converts the Apple language to something the Intel chip can understand.  Some reports have shown this process to use large amounts of memory and may make some applications run slower. Also with this change, the Intel based Macs will NOT support Classic Applications.  This means that any program that is not OS X Native will not run on these new systems.
